The Smart Bulb Fundraiser was designed by Attea Middle School students to raise money for Daughters of Ayacucho Educational Fund while also helping Glenview "Go Green".  After getting permission from District 34, a group of 14 students spent the summer of 2007 developing the Smart Bulb Fundraiser. Donors received a Compact Florescent Lightbulb (CFL) for every $10 donation to DAEF. 
            The Smart Bulb Fundraiser was extremely successful and raised $6500. It is amazing what this group of middle school students accomplished. They raised more than enough to sponsor an entire girl's education, and we are still so impressed by their ambition and leadership. Thank you to everyone involved!
